**Key Responsibilities**
- **Facilities Maintenance**: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all facilities, including buildings, equipment, and utilities.
- **Vendor Management**: Coordinate and manage service providers for maintenance, cleaning, security, and landscaping services.
- **Health & Safety**: Ensure compliance with South African health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- **Budget Management**: Develop and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting and cost control.
- **Project Oversight**: Plan and execute facility upgrades, renovations, and relocations as needed.
- **Risk Management**: Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
- **Energy Efficiency**: Develop and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs.
- **Emergency Response**: Act as the primary contact for facility emergencies, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Adhoc duties when need be.
- **A valid driver’s licence it’s a requirement**

**Qualifications and Skills**
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in facilities management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of South African building regulations, occupational health and safety standards, and environmental laws.
- Experience with managing budgets and negotiating with vendors and service providers.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
