Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Facilities Manager, based in the City of Cape Town. The Facilities Manager will oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and management of facilities to ensure they are safe, efficient, and compliant with regulations. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, managing budgets, coordinating building maintenance, ensuring health and safety compliance, and identifying areas for operational improvements to align with corporate goals. The role will require collaboration with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality facilities management solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Facility Management, Maintenance Operations, and Vendor Management
  • Experience with Budgeting, Cost Control, and Financial Planning
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Compliance Regulations
  • Proven Leadership and Team Management capabilities
  • Problem-Solving, Decision-Making, and Analytical Thinking abilities
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills for client and stakeholder collaboration
  • Technical proficiency in facilities management software and tools is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field
