A renowned Manufacturing Engineering company is looking for a “Talent Acquisition Specialist’’ to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in the Helderberg Area.
**Position Overview**:
Source, attract, and select top talent to meet our organisation’s long-term goals and global needs and ensure compliance with employment equity regulations.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in talent acquisition.
- Sound knowledge of the South African Labour Laws.
- Familiarity with global recruitment practices and cultural differences.
- Proficiency in using social media, resume databases, and professional networks.
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
- Understanding of the differences between various roles within organisations.
- Proven success in previous positions.
**Required Education**:
- Bachelor’s Honours Degree in Human Resources Management
**Recommendations**:
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems.
- Professional HR certification.
- Knowledge of PaySpace.
**Special requirement(s)**:
- Willingness to travel outside South Africa

**Key Performance Areas and Responsibilities**:
Sourcing and Recruitment:
- Collaborate with managers to identify talent gaps.
- Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
- Manage the full talent acquisition process from sourcing to onboarding.
- Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
- Use next-gen solutions to drive talent acquisition.
Employment Equity Compliance:
- Stay informed about employment equity legislation and regulations in South Africa.
- Ensure fair representation and diversity in our hiring practices.
- Implement employment equity initiatives and monitor progress.
- Maintain employment equity records and submit annual reports.
Global Perspective:
- Understand cultural nuances and adapt recruitment approaches accordingly.
- Factor in international relocation, work permits, and visa processes.
Employer Branding:
- Lead employer branding initiatives to attract talent globally and promote our company as an attractive employer.
- Participate in international job fairs and recruitment events.
