If you have strong leadership abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for academic excellence, we want you on our team Key Responsibilities (Not Limited To): **Staff Support & Development** - Assist the Academic Team Leader in supervising and supporting the academic team. - Monitor staff attendance and report absenteeism to the manager. - Assist with scheduling performance reviews, one-on-ones, and team meetings. - Ensure compliance with training goals and professional development initiatives. - Support new hires through onboarding and training. **Operational Excellence** - Ensure daily academic tasks are completed efficiently. - Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of student dashboards and reports. - Ensure assignments are marked and feedback is provided within 24 hours. - Track academic performance and ensure students at risk receive necessary support. - Oversee adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality assurance measures. - Assist in implementing academic strategies to improve student throughput and success rates. **Student & Academic Support** - Spot-check lecturer feedback on assignments to ensure it is clear and constructive. - Manage and monitor student study groups, ensuring active engagement and valuable resources are shared. - Facilitate the distribution of academic certificates within two weeks of course completion. - Monitor and report on trends in absenteeism and academic challenges. Communication & Leadership - Act as a key point of contact between staff and the Academic Team Leader. - Take and distribute meeting minutes within 24 hours. - Assist in managing disciplinary processes for junior staff. - Address minor staff conflicts and escalate significant issues to the manager. - Promote company culture by upholding the core values of integrity, loyalty, learning, and generosity. **What We’re Looking For**: **Qualifications**: - At least a Matric certificate with an administration qualification or equivalent experience. **Skills & Experience**: - Prior team leadership or supervisory experience. - Strong organizational and administrative skills. - Ability to quality-assure work to a high standard. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and other digital tools. - Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). - A strong desire to grow and develop professionally. **What We Offer**: - Salary: R7,500 - R9,500 per month. - Free study opportunity at Skills Academy after your probation period. - Annual leave as per the Staff Manual. - A supportive and dynamic work environment that encourages professional growth. **Our Culture**: We value **integrity**, **loyalty**, **growth**, and **generosity**.
