Job overview
My client, a leading Export and Import company, is looking for an experienced Administration Clerk to join their team on a half day basis.
Areas of Responsibility (Your duties will include but are not limited to)
- General administration duties as required, filing, invoicing, calls to clients, communication with clients re deliveries, filing, compiling VAT submission, answering of telephone calls, etc.
- Creating of Purchase Orders in Xero
- Following up on payments (Debtors)
- Contact retailers re orders/stock
- Creating, updating and maintaining records and databases
- Record keeping of meetings
- Prepare salary slips
- Manage import & export paperwork
- Updating and maintaining of all staff files
- Deal with clients on all levels
- Registering & licensing of vehicles and all related paperwork
- Invoicing in Xero attaching all relevant documentation
- Checking and reconciling of all admin received from warehouse
- Must LOVE admin
Knowledge, skills, and experience required
Educational Background
- Proven work experience as an Administration Clerk essential
- Minimum Grade 12
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand Afrikaans & English
- Proficient in MS Office - Excel, Word, Outlook & Microsoft teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good time management skills
- Strong organization skills with a problem solving attitude
- Own transport essential
