- A technical background with an affinity for electrics
- Computer literate (good understanding of MS Word, Excel.)
- 3+ years of work experience in a technical role
- Minimum N3 or grade 12
- Completion of an electrical and/or mechanical course would be an advantage
- Good communication skills (both written and spoken)
- Logical, methodical way of working
- Self-disciplined and able to work independently
- Strong work ethic
- Valid Driver’s license essential
- code 8 or 14
- Physically fit, healthy, and energetic due to the physical nature of the work
- Willing to travel both nationally and internationally
- Able to work after hours when required
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must be adaptable and able to fit into an existing team

Primary Responsibilities:

- Servicing and maintenance on label applicators and cassettes
- Servicing of BVC pumps and chop and blow pumps
- Installation of labelling machines
- Servicing of complete labelling machines
- Removal of labelling machines
- Fault finding and repairing of labelling machines
- Delivering labels to customers if and when necessary
- General housekeeping of workstation and general workshop area
