Effective control and management of staff via:

- Staff postings, duty scheduling and control
- Staff appointments
- Attendance and leave management
- Performance management, disciplinaries, motivating and training
- Access control and risk mitigation management
- Frequent & meaningful interaction with all stakeholders on matters relating to safety and security and client input and feedback on various issueS
- Attend and/or initiate meetings with owners, residents & role players
- Building of external and internal relationships to the benefit of the estate(s) and to reinforce practices and policies
- Incident management and ad-hoc security operations
- Investigation, reporting and conclusion of security incidents
- Implementation of all standard operating procedures (SOP) requirements and procedures
- Risk management and analysis
- Implementation of strategies and goals to achieve competitive/pro-active safety and security advantages
- Monitoring, reporting and recommendations for amendments and/or training to mitigate risks
- Security audits and reports to determine risks, needs and assessments

**Essential requirements**
- Matric
- Relevant qualifications or experience
- PSIRA Grade A
- Code 08 driver’s license
- Relevant experience which includes:

- General HR and security system management
- An inclination to residential security management
- Safety & security acumen and understanding
- An understanding of access control systems, camera surveillance and footage analysis
- Analysis and optimization of resources and processes
- Investigations, report writing and conclusions
- Standard Operating Procedures
- Legal knowledge and experience of relevant acts (Criminal Procedure Act; Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Occupational Health & Safety Act etc.)
- MS Office
- Appropriate experience in the management of staff:

- Labour relations (disciplinaries, grievances & union matters) legalities and fundamentals
- Performance management and analysis
- Goal orientated training and motivation

**Salary**: R32,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gauteng, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Security Manager: 5 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- PSIRA Grade A Certificate (preferred)
