**Main Market Channel Manager Job Description**
- We are seeking an innovative Main Market channel manager to plan and oversee the implementation of our trade marketing strategies across the main market channel. You will be developing channel-specific marketing strategies and planning trade marketing campaigns
- To ensure success as a channel manager, you should demonstrate extensive knowledge of channel strategies and experience in a related industry.
- An outstanding channel manager will be someone whose expertise results in optimized marketing strategies and increased profitability.

**Channel Manager Responsibilities**:

- Evaluating and improving existing channel strategies.
- Developing new channel marketing strategies and implementing plans
- Provide strategic leadership to the business on our most important channel
- Determine optimal levels of market penetration with strict criteria for engagement
- Determine FTE and outsourced resource requirements
- Manage effectiveness of outsourced service providers
- Targeting specific trade segments to promote products
- Develop and execute trade pricing strategies
- Plan and monitor in-trade asset placement
- Analyzing market data, trends, consumer preferences, and competitor behavior to optimize strategies.
- Determining which growth levers to drive and adapting campaigns accordingly
- Gathering marketing campaign data, evaluating the impact of strategies, and reporting the results
- Deploying channel strategies in collaboration with the marketing team, senior managers, and other departments
- Managing all campaign communications and establishing strong partner networks.
- Keeping track of and implementing the latest marketing technologies and techniques
- Budget setting and monitoring spend effectiveness in the Main Market

**Channel Manager Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or in a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in channel marketing.
- In-depth knowledge of current digital marketing technologies and techniques.
- Proficiency in channel management software
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration capabilities.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: From R4.00 per month
