Manufacturing & Rope Specialist / Recovery Gear Assembler

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and innovative individual who will handle the full process of manufacturing our recovery gear. This includes working with ropes, making soft shackles, splicing, whipping, packing, stocktaking, etc. You will be responsible for planning your day, working independently, maintaining high standards of neatness and safety, and bringing ideas for process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture recovery gear: splicing, whipping, knotting, making soft shackles, etc.
- Packing products for dispatch or storage to required quality standards.
- Stocktaking: tracking raw materials and finished goods, managing inventory.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well organised work area.
- Suggesting improvements to production workflow, efficiency, product quality.
- Planning your daily tasks and managing your time without constant supervision.
- Ensuring all gear meets our required standards for safety, strength, and finish.

Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience working with ropes: knowledge of knots, splicing, whipping, soft shackles.
- Good hand-skills, attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Neat, tidy, disciplined work ethic.
- Problem-solving abilities; able to spot inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
- Good understanding of safety, gear strength, quality control.

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From R40,00 per hour

Expected hours: 41.5 per week
