Cutter

Aluvent is a market leader which manufactures & installs standard & custom-made Aluminium/Glass/Steel products within the high-end residential market and is looking to hire an experienced assembler to join their team.
- Have at least 3 years experience in the Aluminium industry of which 1 year as a cutter
- Be able to read and understand technical drawings.
- Be able to work with industry standard cutting machines
- Conduct machine maintenance and trouble shooting
- Skilled in assembly and cutting of Shop front, Clipp 44 & Casement products. HBS & Curtain walls advantageous
- Skilled in straight and mitre cuts
- Skilled assembly and cutting custom Aluminium products vehicle gates, skylights, pergolas, screens, shutters
- Have a good understanding of quality standards associated with the glass and aluminium industry.
- Must be able to work well as part of a diverse team as well as be able to work alone when required.
- Must be punctual and of sober habits.
- Must be energetic and be willing to add positively to the team spirit and culture of the company.

Remuneration based on experience and demonstrable skills.

On passing probation period:

- 50% toward pension scheme
- 50% towards company doctor scheme

Expected Start Date: 2025/01/31
