Well established company dealing in the construction and manufacturing sector, has a vacancy for a Project Manager to join their rapidly expanding company based in Blackheath as soon as possible

**Requirements**:

- Relevant Degree or Diploma
- SACPCMP registration or similar preferable
- Five years of experience in a similar position; experience with operations preferred.
- Strong experience in planning and programming (MS Projects and or Candy)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects

**Duties will include but not limited to**:

- Overall management of site operations
- Compile and submit claims for contract sites to Contracts Manager
- Pre project preparation:

- To be fully conversant with documents
- Prepare the financial side
- Ensure all contractual requirements are fulfilled, checklists completed and arrangements made
- Plan the productivity of all sub-ordinates
- Supervise the productivity of all sub-ordinates
- Maintain progress in accordance with the programme and budget
- Co-ordinate and oversee the activities, progress and quality of subcontractors, and hold regular meetings with them
- Submit monthly progress statements
- Liaise with Client, Engineer, Local Authorities etc. to fulfil all necessary contract requirements.
- Assist in the recruitment, development and training of employees with potential.
- Maintain a safe and secure site
- Enhance the Company image by maintaining a tidy site and by minimizing inconvenience to the public.
- Ensure industrial peace by maintaining good labour relations in accordance with company procedures
