**Position overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Equipment Operations**:The duties shall include but not be limited to:

- Assist in the installation, and maintenance of equipment such as fixed and mobile CCTV cameras, in vehicle systems, point-of-sale device, and related infrastructure.
- Support in conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure all equipment is in working order.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the systems, including connectivity and hardware failures.
- Maintain detailed logs of maintenance, repairs, and system performance.
- Work closely with the in-house technology teams to ensure optimal system functionality.
- Assist in updating and replacing outdated or faulty equipment as required.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols during maintenance activities.
- Support compliance with local security and privacy regulations where applicable.

**Support**:The duties shall include but not be limited to:

- Respond to service requests and emergency maintenance calls as specified in our SLA with the Client
- Inspection of in Vehicle equipment, enclosures, equipment on site and reporting issues recorded during inspections.
- Maintaining the equipment by cleaning and executing 1st and 2nd level repairs of the equipment on a regular basis.
- Regular sites visit as requested
- Hardware inspection and set-up at clients operation depots
- Ensure that all assigned calls are resolved within the agreed timelines and updated and/or closed out timeously.
- Be available on a standby basis after hours, weekends and public holidays as required.

**Installation**:The duties shall include but not be limited to:

- Equipment Installation on vehicles and operational depots as required by the contract, including in in vehicle equipment, docking stations, body camera and related cabling.

**Vehicles**:The duties shall include but not be limited to:

- Daily inspection of the vehicle and reporting of any damage or repairs needed e.g., rust on vehicle or accidents.
- Ensure proper control and use of company vehicles.
- Ensure that the Company Fleet Policy is strictly adhered to.

**General Administrative Duties**:The duties shall include but not be limited to:

- Ensure logbooks are completed with every trip.
- Ensure that accidents are reported within 24hours of the occurrence to SAPS and Fleet Manager.
- Provide any related reports as required.
- Ensure that all customer interaction and communication is done in a professional and respectable manner.

**Education and Experience**
- Matric, NQF equivalent or NQF Level 4 or higher.
- Minimum five years prior experience in maintenance operations relating to CCTV, Traffic Signals, Freeway Management Systems, Automatic Fare Collection Systems, Advanced Public Transport Management Systems, Fleet Management, Point-of-Sale or other business types underpinned by technology solution.
- Ability to drive.
- Valid driver’s license.

The following qualifications will be advantageous:

- Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics), Information Technology, or similar.
- Vendor and/or industry certifications and/or experience in one or more of the following areas: Data Networking, e.g., CompTIA Network+, Internet Protocol (IP) CCTV, Access Control, electronics, vehicle electronics.
- Auto electrical Trade test

Contract length: 36 months

Pay: R15 000,00 - R22 000,00 per month
