**About the Role**:
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team on a contract basis. This role will primarily involve providing technical support on-site as needed, with a focus on troubleshooting and maintaining computer systems, software, and networks. This is a contract position, and compensation will be negotiable based on experience and performance during the interview process.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide on-site technical support for end users as needed.
- Maintain and monitor computer systems and networks, ensuring smooth operations.
- Assist with system upgrades, installations, and migrations.
- Address technical issues and offer solutions in a timely manner.
- Set up user accounts and permissions, and assist with general system maintenance.
- Provide documentation on processes, configurations, and system operations.
- Collaborate with IT staff on larger projects and problem-solving.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar technical support role.
- Solid understanding of hardware, software, and networking protocols.
- Proficient in Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with tools for remote support and ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with both technical and non-technical users.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, ITIL, etc.) are a plus.

**Additional Information**:

- This is a contract-based position; hours may vary depending on workload and on-site needs.
- Pay will be negotiable based on experience, and hourly rates will be discussed during the interview.
- Flexible working hours though on-site presence when required.
