We're looking for an experienced technician to install and maintain our machines.

Company overview:
CALEBE INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY is a South African Company based in Cape Town providing next generation cellphone charging stations for establishments and facilities like restaurants, bars, night clubs, coffee shops, gym & health centres, supermarkets & malls, hospitals etc, to meet the daily demand of clients and customers that need to recharge their cellphones when they are far from home.

More about our machines:
Our cellphone charging stations consist of a Coin Acceptor, Timer, Mini doors with 4-6 pin Digital locker, Power switch, Built in fast charging cables that support Android with micro usb, Usb type C chargers and Iphone chargers.

How it works:
The machines are configured to accept any South African R5 coin.
- Check which locker is available, it will be indicated by a flashing digital display with a number corresponding to the locker.
- Once have identified an empty locker, check the cable if fits your cellphone type. - Then insert the R5 coin into the coin slot (Coint Acceptor) Each R5 will give you 30 Minutes if charging time.
- You can insert as many R5 as you want depending on how many minutes you want to charge your cellphone.
- Once you have inserted your coins, press the button that corresponds to the locker you have chosen.
- A green light will eluminate to indicate power is now being supplied to the locker you picked.
- Plug in your cellphone and the colour change to blue,Close the door.
- Key in a 4 to 6 digital code on the locker with you cellphone and press the green button to locker.
- Make sure the locker is locked by giving it a little tug and you good to good.
- To access your cellphone at any given time just key in your 4 to 6 digital code.

Responsibilities for Service Technician:

- Install new products, and test them to ensure they are working correctly
- Educating the client on how to use and maintain their device
- Perform maintenance and provide customer support
- Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them
- Order parts needed for repairs if needed
- Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed
- Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers
- Build and maintain relationships with customers

Qualifications for Service Technician:

- Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot equipment
- Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams
- Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills
- Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job
- Ability to work independently without much supervision
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
- driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to effectively manage time

**Salary**: R7,000.00 - R9,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
