Our client is searching for a Senior Sales Consultant to join their team in Cape Town

**Required Qualifications**
- Marketing/ Sales Diploma or Degree
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license

**Required Experience**
- Minimum of 10 years experience in sales

**Recommended Skills, Knowledge and Qualities**
- Experience in the Timber or construction industry
- Dynamic and result-driven, with a passion for exceeding targets.
- Sales and customer service orientated.
- A track record of success in the sales environment (10 years min)
- Excellent sales skills
- Excellent closing skills
- Generate solutions for customers
- Proven sales discipline practices
- Presentation skills are a must
- Public speaking is a must
- Ability to engage with all levels from shop floor to business owners
- Responsible and Accountable, forward-thinking/innovative problem solver
- Administration skills and attention to detail

- Ability to grow existing client base and identify potential customers
- Implement sales strategies and tactics
- Ensure orders are processed promptly
- Excellent communicator, with the ability to engage face-to-face with clients
- Motivated by continuous learning and development
- Compile required reporting for management every week
- Closed deals on developments
- Cold calling
- Engage with developers and architects to close the loop between the Organisation and the Merchant
- Gain Specification - Introduce the Organisation's products, influence products, and influence the product being specified in projects
- Build and maintain relationships with indirect customers
