Structure, Grade & Reporting Job grade/level M5 Business Unit Cloud Platform Solutions Department Field Services Position reports to Senior Manager: Operations M4 Span of Control 1 Direct report and 4 Indirect Core Description
Monitor several complexes, multi-disciplinary projects at any one time with the objective to effectively manage the change process for strategic corporate activities and ensure the optimisation of the commercial considerations of BCX. Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
Facilitate Successful Delivery of All Client and Internal Projects:
Regularly monitor the overall progress of all projects
Plan and manage financial budget and financials of all cabling activities
Yearly financial budgeting
Reporting on all financial aspects of cabling
Effectively always manage interdependencies between projects
Successfully monitor and ensure that Change Control processes are adhered to in alignment with BCX’s standards and policies
Always ensure successful communication with all stakeholders on the account with regards to Project Management activities
Monitor project quality on a continuous basis

**Perform Line Management Functions**:
Successfully aid in securing an appropriate working environment for project managers
Effectively ensure that all project managers receive the appropriate training as well as certification
Regularly see to the well-being of project managers
Provide appropriate coaching and mentoring as and when the need arises
Document all processes through minutes of meetings, progress reports, project plans and appropriate information gathering and storage always

**Execute the Resource Management function**:
Effectively always allocate the appropriate project managers to projects
Always ensure efficient resource utilisation
Successfully assist project managers with allocation of project resources

**Project Finance Management**:
Effectively manage the profitability, revenue and costs on the account
Ensure that all expenditure is documented and accounted for in alignment with BCX’s policies and procedures
Take the necessary steps when over-expenditure occurs

**Oversee Project Health**:
Effectively ensure that projects are completed timeously, within budget and are of a high quality, with the help of Regional Programme Managers
Successfully manage the projects, as and when required to do so

**Manage Risks and Issues**:
Effectively identify and diagnose the significance of all risks and issues on a continuous basis
Effectively mitigate risks and issues timeously
Escalate risks and issues to the appropriate person

5 years programme management,15 years project management experience,
Of which 2-5 years’ experience in Retail project/management programme will be advantageous Certifications / Professional Registration Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Prince2 or PMBOK or equivalent Special Requirements/ Employment Condition Valid Drivers license Required to travel locally and/or internationally Required to be available 24/7 Work Characteristics WFA /Office Based
