New Business Development Representative

**Job Experience & Skills Required** - Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the FMCG market - Relevant Degree/ Diploma in sales or marketing - Good communication & negotiation skills - Understanding of basic business principles eg pricing, marketing, distribution - Proactive thinker eg evaluate the situation - think for himself - make decision - Identify potential "distributors/wholesalers" in smaller towns who currently sell to local businesses, cafes, and spazas eg. a Cash & Carry or a supermarket that sells to smaller retailers and consumers. - Negotiate listing/stocking of products. - Negotiate advertising/merchandising opportunities to create awareness that the store stocks the products. - Generate first order. - Build the relationship and business over a few months until ready to hand over to the company to look after. - Areas to call on: cross-border towns (eg. Zim, Botswana, Mozambique); towns on SA borders (eg. Musina, Komati, Beit Bridge); local towns in the area - Must have a valid driver's license and passport
