Technical knowledge regarding lighting, electrical, solar and security products is essential

Job Responsibilities

Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, & product knowledge.

Serves Trade customers by helping them select products suitable for their development projects

Dealing with Architects, interior decorators and contractors

Provides outstanding customer service

Have the potential to process and closes deals

Cold calling potential clients and setting up appointments

Maintaining relationships with existing customers

Promoting store offers and exclusive deals

Technical Assistance

Preparation of orders

Reaching sales targets

Assisting at trade shows or exhibitions

Develops, manages, and grows the trade client base within a defined geographic region

Maximizing cross-sell potential and keeping up to date on clients' business developments,

Project and report pipeline and inventory demand on large quotes/orders

Acquire New Trade / Corporate customers

Scopes and applies to relevant calls for tender

Implementing and reporting on strategies for sales growth

Trade Sales Associate Qualifications/ Skills:
Physically fit
- will be required to do site visits

Listening

Excellent customer service

Meeting sales goals

Selling to customer needs

Product knowledge

People & Communication skills

High Energy level

Dependability

General math skills

Fluent in English

Proficient in Microsoft Office

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE LIGHTING, ELECTRICAL AND SOLAR SECTORS

Working Monday - Saturday

Own Vehicle Required ( AA Rates paid for business travel)

**Salary**: R8500 per month + 2% Commission on Target
