**Property Portfolio Manager / Property Specialist**

**Johannesburg North, GP**

**R 25 000 base + commission (negotiable depending on experience)**

**Requirements**:

- Matric with excellent English proficiency
- Proficiency in MS Office and computer literacy
- Recommended completion of Paddock's Sectional Title and Home Owners Association Certificate Courses.
- Relevant Financial Qualification will be advantageous
- Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably in the property industry
- Knowledge of bookkeeping/accounting practices and the Sectional Titles Act
- Effective organizational and time management skills

**Responsibilities**
- Attend trustee and director meetings, chairing and minuting as required.
- Take necessary actions resulting from meetings, with the support of the financial controller and administrative team.
- Oversee the budgeting and financials of the assigned property portfolio.
- Manage payment of creditors and handle financial reporting.
- Maintain relationships with Scheme Executives, contractors, councils, and utility management companies.
- Communicate with owners directly and through Owners' Letters.
- Collaborate with financial controllers, support teams, and caretakers/estate managers.
- Assist with Scheme payroll input and approval.
- Handle collections and manage accounts under transfer, arrangement, or legal processes.
- Liaise with councils regarding billing statements, payments, and queries.
- Coordinate building contractors, respond to Scheme Executives' instructions, and address outstanding maintenance matters.
- Update insurance schedules and renew policies for Schemes in the portfolio.
- Confirm levy information for Clearance Figures.

**The working conditions for this position include the option of working in an open-plan office or remotely, constant interactions and interruptions from various role players, potential stress due to deadlines and time-sensitive tasks, and the responsibility of training and overseeing colleagues in assigned tasks.
