**CORE PURPOSE OF JOB**

The primary purpose of this position is to prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages while ensuring high standards of customer service. Responsibilities include operating espresso machines and related equipment, taking customer orders, processing payments, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

A strong emphasis is placed on delivering excellent customer experiences by greeting guests warmly, answering queries, and building positive relationships in a fast-paced environment.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Create and serve specialty coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, and other beverages according to company recipes and standards.
- Greeting customers, taking orders, offering menu recommendations, and providing information about ingredients and drink customization.
- Safely and efficiently operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment.
- Accurately take orders and process payments
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, including counters, machines, and seating areas.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies such as cups, beans, and syrups, and place orders as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Follow food and beverage safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
- Ad hoc projects as required from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Matric or equivalent qualifications.
- Previous Barista experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and according to strict deadlines at a fast pace.
- Willing to work long hours, weekends and Public Holidays, school holidays.

Pay: R6 000,00 per month
