We need to make additions to our cafe team, we have an opening for a part time barista with experience with food preparation.

Responsibility:

- Point of sale: receiving payment for items taken
- Preparing Coffees using coffee machine.
- Latte art
- Food preparation in a timely manor
- Cleaning workspace and front of house cafe, opening, during hours and closing.
- Maintain a high level of hygiene in the workplace and kitchen area.
- Ensuring all meals are prepared according to specifications
- Must beable to work quickly under pressure
- Work well in a team.

Required Qualifications:

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- South African ID
- Matric certification
- Fluent in English
- Clear criminal record, undergo company criminal checks
- 1 year barista experience
- 1 year food preparation experience

Desired qualifications:

- Certification in cooking / hospitality
- First aid level 1

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From R27,58 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
