**IR officer - Automotive component factory PE**

Our client is a world-class automotive component manufacturing facility and seeks to employ an experienced IR Officer. Experience in the automotive industry essential.

**QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a completed tertiary qualification in the field of Human Resources ( ND or BTech ) is a basic requirement for this position**

WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least 5 years working in a HR environment in the automotive manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and experience with IR activities and HR administration. (ensuring policies are updated.)
- Must have experience in equipping and training managers to chair hearings.
- Experience working with trade unions and shop stewards.
- Must be experienced with ensuring legal compliance within a facility.

**OTHER REOUIREMENTS AND INFORMATION**:

- Must be a South African citizen that resides in the Eastern Cape
- Computer literacy (MS Word and Excel essential)
- Good decision making, Organisational and Peoples Skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to time manage.
- Must have an impeccable disciplinary and attendance records.
- Must be willing to learn.
- Attention to detail and confidentiality essential
