An industry leader in the manufacturing sector has an opportunity for an energetic, highly motivated Maintenance Artisan to join their Production Team, based in East London. **Responsibilities**:

- Installation, maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment using specialized tools including welders and/or hydraulic bolters
- Removal and fitment of equipment components
- Run maintenance programs
- Ensure that standards are maintained in accordance with the ISO quality system.
- Working on continuous improvement projects on the line in partnership with Production

Ideal Qualifications and Experience include:

- Minimum of a matric and N4
- N6 and Trade Tested, Millwright/fitter and turner ideal
- Minimum of 3 years’ Manufacturing Production experience in a continuous or FMCG environment
- 5+ years’ experience in fabrication of components - milling, lathe, drilling, surface grinding
- Welding (MIG, TIG, Arc)
- Experience in machine maintenance
- Proficiency in English - written and verbal, with good comprehension skills
- CAD design advantageous
- Attention to detail, motivated, self -disciplined and energetic
- Analytical and logical thinker
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact across organization
- Willing to work shifts
- Own transport essential

Remuneration Package:

- R30 000 + Benefits + Travel Allowance

**Salary**: R30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- East London, Eastern Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing Production (Continuous or FMCG Environment): 3 years (required)
- Component Fabrication: 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

- N4 or Higher Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (required)
