**Requirements**:

- A relevant B-Degree in Business Administration, Business Economics,

Econometrics, Public Policy, Development Studies, Public
Administration, Urban Planning or related field.
- Project Management qualification will be an added advantage.
- A valid driver’s licence is essential.
- Computer literacy - MS Office

Key Performance Areas
- Develop strategic plans and roadmaps for improving the business

climate in Cape Town, making use of the City’s corporate policy
process where necessary and engaging with corporate policy
direction, outlining objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Identify systemic issues impeding business-facing services' efficiency

and exploring
Complex problems affecting the doing business climate in Cape
Town.
- Conduct thorough analysis using various analytical tools and

methodologies to identify systemic issues hindering business-facing
services' efficiency.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to implement

identified solutions and initiatives, defining project scopes, objectives,
timelines, and resource requirements.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams, business community,

industry associations, and government agencies to collaborate
effectively on business climate improvement initiatives.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the

effectiveness of implemented initiatives and regularly monitor
progress against these metrics.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to disseminate these practices

among relevant stakeholders in the city.
