**Summary of role;**

The Junior Desktop Support Technician should provide employees with hands-on, systematic support. Receive IT-related concerns, and then proceed to diagnose and solve these issues also ensure the regular maintenance of the IT infrastructure.

**Desired Experience & Qualification**

Grade 12

Completed A+ & N+

No experience needed

Computer Literacy: MS Office (essential)

**Duties & Responsibilities (Will be trained)**

Advising staff on appropriate procedures for directing their IT-related queries and recommendations.

Receiving and documenting requests for support.

Deciding on the most suitable ways of providing aid.

Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems

Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support

Organise and maintain IT resources.

Setting up new computers, networks, and software for new employees

Providing support to IT staff by answering phones, processing paperwork, and responding to user requests

Coordinating with other departments to ensure that all technology is working properly for the company.

Collecting, analysing, and storing data for use in reports.

Supporting the maintenance of existing computer systems, including troubleshooting problems with hardware and software.

Assisting with computer network security by scanning for vulnerabilities and viruses.
