Training Business Development Officer

**The Training Business Development Officer will be responsible for**:
- Generating a revenue for the training department by making use of existing structures and identifying new opportunities;
- Coordination and management of skills development initiatives;
- Liaising with relevant training partners to build relationships and increase revenue;
- Liaising with the relevant SETA/QCTO to maximise the benefits of partnerships/relationships; o Implementation and management of SETA learnerships;
- Recruitment of learners for various SETA programmes;
- Submission of reports to various stakeholders (monthly, quarterly, and yearly) internally & externally;
- Ensuring that WWISE’s Training department complies with all requirements as indicated by the certification bodies, professional bodies and SETA/QCTO;
- Weekly reporting on current projects;
- Creating and maintaining relationships with clients and relevant stakeholders;
- Assisting with sourcing of facilitators, assessors, and moderators for the various programmes;
- Ensuring that all facilitators/ assessors and moderators have valid relevant registrations;
- Assisting the Training Department to reach their set annual revenue target;
- Manage the marketing of training programmes through social platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook;.
- Assisting with the establishment of partnerships with universities;
- Assisting with training tender submissions - proposal writing and attending tender briefings;
- Ensuring training material is always up to date and hand outs and videos (where applicable) are current and of excellent quality;
- Prepare and attend the site audits for SETA’s and certification bodies;
- Ensure the department complies with all relevant legislations and internal policies and procedures;
- Conducting research in order to identify best practices and to design a blended learning approach which will meet the business need;
- Taking responsibility to ensure that the quality and timeliness of business deliverables meet business expectations;
- Performing other duties as and when required.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Knowledge and interest in the training industry;
- Knowledge and interest in sales in the training industry;
- The ability to build relationships with the purpose of generating revenue;
- An analytical and creative mind;
- The ability to work well within a diverse team;
- Commercial and business awareness;
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal;
- Attention to detail;
- Team player;
- Ability to meet deadlines.
**Minimum Experience and Qualifications Required**:
- A minimum of four years’ experience in a professional environment;
- Experience within a training department;
- Experience working with SETAs and certification/accreditation bodies;
- Preferably experience working in a sales environment;
- Any relevant tertiary qualification.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Centurion, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Diploma (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Training Administration: 4 years (preferred)
- Sales: 3 years (preferred)
