**Site Merchandiser**

Duties include the following, but not limited to:

- Manage the end-to-end setup of all products
- Maintain and update all product imagery, attributes, including colour names, pricing, markdowns, filters, tags, promotional pricing, and copy
- Partners with Marketing and Digital teams to assist in developing compelling merchandising themes and storytelling for each season and across categories
- Examines site daily/weekly to ensure products are in the correct categories, promotions are functioning, links lead to the correct categories/pages and product setup is accurate. Tests new features and functionality as needed
- Manages and optimizes site search results and faceted navigation for each category for increased product sales. Identifies and fixes failed searches, creates, and manages a library of synonyms for frequently misspelled products and keywords
- Perform periodic website testing through various browsers and devices (i.e. desktop, tablet and mobile) to ensure new features and functionality are working correctly
- Work with SEO team to implement best practices for both product, category and special and landing pages to increase rankings in SERPs. Coordinates content delivery to help organic search results to rank for non-branded keywords.
- Conduct competitive analysis to evaluate merchandise, promotions, features and product presentation to inform future strategies
**Requirements**:

- Apparel industry experience would be a huge advantage
- Relevant qualifications/portfolio of work
- 3 plus years in e-commerce merchandising or similar role
- Experience working with WooCommerce or similar eCommerce platform
- Track record in apparel industries would be preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Teamwork Orientation
- Time Management and Multitasking
- Problem Solving/Analysis
- Proficient in MS Office and Google
**Salary**: R15 000 CTC

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
