**Your role**
- We’re looking for an Applications & Desktop Support Analyst who will:
- Design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to the business and our clients
- Build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
- Learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
- Work in an agile way as part of multi-disciplinary teams, participate in agile ceremonies, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and others
- Understand, represent, and advocate for business needs
- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities

- You’ll be working in the IT team as part of the IB CDIO division in South Africa. We provide a flexible environment and the latest tech tools at your disposal to get the job done. As an Application & Desktop Support Analyst, you’ll play an important role in driving our digital culture to make us more digital, agile, and provide better opportunities for our people.

**Your expertise**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related field
- Deep knowledge of financial services industry
- Understanding of relational DBs (Oracle/SQL Server/Sybase)
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure
- Should have some exposure to any programming language
- Good understanding of DevOps and Agile Methodology based execution processes
- Ability to interact with other IT professionals, clients and business users in EMEA/US/Other International locations
- Exposure on Cloud integration and Container services i.e Azure / AWS beneficial
