Matric/Grade 12
Degree in public relations and communication/journalism (or recognised equivalent)
Computer literacy (MS office and Outlook)

Hard skills
Proven PR account manager experience (3-5 years - agency preferred)
Excellent copywriting, proofreading and editing skills
Strong social media and content creation skills and commitment to ongoing growth
Understands the SA media landscape, with evidence of media relationships developed
Deliver exceptional client service
Great organisational, mentorship and leadership skills
Highly organised and pays attention to detail
A strong and highly collaborative communicator
Innovative and loves to improve things
Event and project management

Applicants will have a deep understanding of the PR and strategic communications landscape, with proven ability to set strategy, prioritise tasks, manage teams, and deliver results. A professional who loves and cares about the environment and social justice issues and is driven by their opinions on these matters.
