Medical Reception Manager

Looking for a Reception Manager to work in a multidisciplinary private hospital setting in the Southern Suburbs.
- Duties & Responsibilities:_
- Oversee the administrative functions of the Admissions team including drivers from admission to discharge process including necessary documentation and authorisation
- Ensure that staff collect co-payments, surcharges and outstanding balances on private patients
- Daily Banking and Cash Up
- Liaise with management on special arrangements, fixed fees and co-payments
- Liaise with nursing department on bed allocation
- Liaise with Treating Specialists and Medical Aids
- Ensure that the Clinic Manager system is up to date with real time discharges and transfers in conjunction with the nursing team
- Requirements:_
- Grade 12
- Qualification in Business Administration will be advantageous
- 5 Years’ Experience in a mutli-disciplinary hospital environment
- Knowledge of ICD and CPT Coding
- Experience in Scale of Benefits and Alternate Reimbursement Models
- Experience in National Hospitals Network (NHN) Billings would be advantageous
- Knowledge of applicable statutory acts such as Consumer Protection Act; PMB;POPIA, etc.
- Proficiency in Computer Literacy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt and respond to change

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: R3 750,00 - R20 000,00 per month
