Export Logistics Coordinator

- Manage third party service providers’ outputs, i.e., Freight Forwarders, Transporters
- Build relationships directly with shipping lines and negotiate rates
- Transport coordination, loading and off-loading nationally of produce for exports
- Be available 24/7 on-call for transport queries and coordination decisions that need to be made
- Arrange inspections as needed
- Manage and interact professionally with clients, on logistics matters
- Manage marine insurance claim process
- Data capturing (intakes and stock for loadouts)
- Processing of mates and electronic data
- Generating of Logistical Documentation (e.g., Vessel Manifests, Invoices, Addendums)
- Liaising with third parties regarding electronic data / queries
- Keeping data integrity
- Ensure accompanying documentation for export is in order
- Manage cost chain in logistics for Finance and Commercial teams
- Ensure billing letters are completed in a timely manner
- Pre-season logístical planning for all commodities, including, forecasts and documentation requirements

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an export logistics coordinator
- Required to have experience with global markets
- Computer skills a necessity, especially Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience in working closely with shipping lines and negotiating rates is required
