**Responsibilities**:

- Handle bookings and reservations for fruit exports, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather necessary information for bookings.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, including shipment details, customer information, and special requirements.
- Communicate with customers to confirm bookings, provide updates on shipment status, and address any concerns or inquiries.
- Collaborate with shipping lines to arrange transportation logistics for fruit exports.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure smooth loading and unloading of fruit shipments.
- Monitor and track shipments, keeping customers informed of the progress and addressing any delays or issues.
- Prepare and process necessary documentation, such as shipping orders, invoices, and customs paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and requirements.
- Handle administrative tasks related to bookings, including data entry, filing, and maintaining records.
- Assist in resolving any billing discrepancies or disputes related to bookings.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to fruit exports.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of booking processes and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer needs and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

- Matric with logistics degree
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the freight and forwarding industry or related fruit export industry knowledge
- Strong knowledge of export procedures, documentation, and shipping regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings and documentation.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with different stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills to address any issues or challenges that may arise during bookings.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of fruit exports and the agricultural industry is a plus.
