**JOB PURPOSE**:Drive Services Growth for Resource Industries (RI).
The incumbent will be accountable for:

- Delivering the Parts STU (Sales to Users) business plan in conjunction of growing POPS and achieving RI Areas of Focus Targets to capture the lost opportunity.
- Most importantly, the job will require acute customer focus at mine site level and strong proximity and coverage (along with dealer) via implementation of key initiatives and projects designed to deliver added value and enhanced customer experience.

**JOB STANDARD DUTIES**:
This position covers Southern Africa District territories.
- Accountable for achieving Sales to Users Business Plan and growing Caterpillar Parts Market Share in designated territory and with each designated dealer.
- Accountable for executing key aftermarket initiatives (i.e. CVA contracts, demand planning, Prioritized Service Events, connectivity) with business partners for designated dealers.
- Travel at least 50% of the time to visit dealers and Customers to gain more insights into the business and to provide counseling and advice on their aftermarket business.
- Develop and Manage Merchandizing programs and related budget with designated dealers to generate incremental growth.
- Develop and Manage Commercial Strategies and tactics with designated dealers to drive overall business and generate incremental growth.
- Develop and maintain effective internal partner relationships and relationships with managed account managers, dealers, and customers to achieve parts sales growth.

**COLLABORATION WITH OTHER PARTIES**:

- Align and collaborate with the related prime product and product support industry groups to support the lifecycle and focus on key customer initiatives.
- Collaborate with industry partners to identify customer accounts for growth
- Identify dealer development and capability building opportunities and communicate to respective Distribution District Office partners
- Leverage the RI product specialist teams on critical opportunities to grow and win business, sharing specific customer targets
- Work across the matrix by partnering with other departments in a specific territory and utilizing the expertise in lead management, pricing, sales variance, customer insights, etc, to grow and defend the business

**BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE**:
Incumbents usually have had 7 - 10 years prior experience in field assignments and have demonstrated the ability to work independently and to communicate effectively with others in the work group, dealer personnel and customers. Incumbents will have demonstrated the ability to work on increasingly more complex assignments and provide direction to lower level reps on project assignments.
