**Job description**
The successful applicant will plan and execute training for both internal and external clients of Badger Skills Development and maintain and manage relevant administrative tasks related to above mentioned training. As a member of the skills development team they will also provide administrative support to the Training Manager in Springs as and when required
**Duties and Activities**:
- Work closely together with other departments and leaders to identify, plan and execute various types of insurance and related training such as
- Induction
- Product Refresher
- Sales
- Compliance
- QA
- Soft skills
- Coaching
- Design, Plan and facilitate training through a variety of mediums such as classroom, E-learning or on the floor
- Design and oversee learner Assessment and development
- Ensure proper record keeping procedures are implemented and maintained at all times
- Oversee the planning, implementation, facilitation and administration of the regulatory exams
- Prepare and maintain relevant training registers
- Process monthly admin E.g electronic registers, updating of spreadsheets, recording hardcopy registers
- Monitoring and updating of staff lists and compliance lists monthly
- Provide relevant information to Training Manager in preparation for monthly director’s report
- To work towards the achievement of specified annual Badger Group goals
- Perform on the floor training and coaching with our internal staff and external partners with the intention to improve overall performance and profitability through upskilling and personal development. This will remain a secondary function whilst actual training department objective responsibilities will remain the primary function
- Provide weekly progress reports to manager regarding the achievement of set goals.
- Preparation of all induction manuals and training material

- To maintain good working relationships within the organization as well as across various departments of AIB and our external partners
- Engaging in continuous self -study and development to remain up to date with changing trends so as to remain relevant and effective in the training and insurance industry
**Educational / Experience / Skills Requirements**
- Minimum of 3 years insurance sales experience
- Matric certificate
- NQF4 Higher Certificate in Short Term Insurance
- Must have passed Regulatory Exam
- Good understanding of Business management and financial sector legislative environment is Crucial
- Articulate and fluent in English and Zulu
- Presentation and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Performance coaching skills
- Computer literacy, good knowledge of MS Office software package, knowledge of the Group’s IT Systems, infrastructure hardware and software
- Ability to execute effectively and efficiently: Planning, coordinating, monitoring and control skills
- Time management skills
- Good analytical, organizational, coordination and delegation skills
- Administration.
