- Compiles training plans, and budgets based on identified training needs, and required resources
- Develops on-the-job training courses, facilitator and assessments guides to meet and maintain competence in the specific plant
- Schedules, and coordinates training interventions, venues, attendance registers, and reports on all training processes
- Conducts plant on-the-job and technical training interventions
- Carries out plant task observations on operators to support competence declaration
- Coaches and mentors learner operators to transfer skills and knowledge
- Reviews developed training materials for quality assurance in accordance with company policy, and legal requirements
- Proactively conducts post training on the job evaluations to establish training effectiveness
- Records, and maintains training system for area of responsibility.
- Compiles weekly and monthly training reports to various stakeholders and compile information for WSP and ATR submission to Chieta

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Matric / Grade 12.
- Chemical Operations NQF4 or National diploma in Chemical Engineering.
- Higher Certificate in ODETDP.
- Minimum 3 - 5 Years’ experience as a technical trainer in a Chemical Manufacturing Plant.
- Must be a qualified Assessor.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite at an intermediate level.
