**purpose**:

- An integration architect designs and develops architecture that allows multiple systems to work consecutively. As an integration architect the role will partner with software development and engineering teams, ensuring that a client's systems are functional, efficient, and integrate seamlessly into one another.**experience and qualifications**:

- Post Graduate degree or honours degree in Computer science or engineering or a related field/discipline
- 5 - 8 years experience in a similar environment, of which 2 - 3 years ideally at specialist level
- TOGAF certification is a requirement. Knowledge of other frameworks (e.g. Zachman) will be an advantage.
- ITIL Version 3 foundation level or above desirable
- Experience in Architecture Modelling tools like Casewise, Visio, Draw.io, Sparx Enterprise Architect.
- 6+ years Application and Integration software development experience
- Financial Services industry experience and in-depth knowledge of related products
- Expert knowledge of API development, critical security concepts and DevSecOps principles.
- Excellent fundamental understanding of integration and data principles, standards and practices.
- Expert knowledge in API Gateways and Managers.
- Experienced and practical knowledge of working with Software AG technology stack advantageous. Familiar with Active Transfer, WebMethods Integration Server, API Gateway, API Portal, Centrasite,
- Understanding of integration architectures and service orientated design
- Understanding of integration technologies and integration patterns
- Experienced in establishing integration governance processes and capabilities for both design and runtime
- Experienced in working with both enterprise integration registries and repositories
- Experienced in driving the necessary integration design governance in working with integration analysis, integration mapping and integration design
- Experienced in API Strategy and Design and Implementation involving Quality of Service and Policy Enforcement
- Skilled and experienced in both synchronous and asynchronous Enterprise Integration patterns
- Familiar with integration technologies like MQ, JMS and Swagger
- Deploying and overseeing cloud computing and middleware strategies.
