Our client a Global Tech firm is seeking an Azure Solutions Architect to join their team in Sandton on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, attractive rates and an excellent working environment.

As a Solutions Architect, you''ll be responsible for designing and implementing new systems and services that meet the needs of our customers. You will have experience in Azure Infrastructure, Cloud Services such as Microsoft Exchange Online, SQL Server Databases (Azure), Virtual Machines/IaaS based on Azure or Amazon Web Services(AWS) depending on your expertise. The ability to work with various teams within the company is important to ensure proper customer satisfaction. You should also be comfortable working remotely if required.
**Requirements**:

- Governing and implementing the integration of all solutions and their integration patterns.
- Providing expertise and consulting to all projects within our delivery function about integration, interfaces and data flows and technologies.
- Creating, designing and reviewing solution architecture documents at high quality standards.
- Consult with new projects to provide architectural guidance.
- Gathering Clients Cloud requirements and translating them to technical solutions and systems design.
- Understands and can drive quality in a delivery project, from documentation through to delivery and testing.
- Utilizes their knowledge and experience of the design and deployment of Cloud architectures of scaled solutions their deep understanding of Cloud design principles, to meet our clients business and strategic requirements
- Researching new technologies to optimize the current solutions, and to make them sustainable for the future.
- Fostering relationships with clients, to ensure ongoing collaboration and sustainability
**Qualifications**
- MCSE Virtualisation administrator certification or MCSA Azure / Private Cloud, or equivalent.
- Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, or
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Architect
- At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in Cloud architecture for large-scale projects.
- Ability to drive client engagement/solutions requirement meetings.
- Ability to understand, articulate and document client requirements.
- If required, capability to deploy said solutions, within the greater deployment team
- Proven knowledge of infrastructure components such as network, firewalls, Load Balancers, Databases, virtualization, and security aspects.
