Social Media Marketing Coordinator

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and manage the social media coverage of the groups activities and events Present the brand and its culture in an appealing and positive sight.
- Work closely with HR regarding vacancies and the best practice to advertise/promote the vacancy.
- Draw up monthly plans with clear objectives
- Produce monthly and weekly reports of the platform.
- Meet required deadlines.
- Communicate with contributing team members and follow up on deadlines issued.
- Use copywriting skills to produce accurate work.
- Access social media platforms via cellphone as and when required.
- Communicate with customers if required, and redirecting feedback to correct channels
- Excellent knowledge of the groups culture and know what the business entails to advise customers accordingly.
- Identify ways to maximise and leverage social content in all forms of marketing.
- Good understanding of the LinkedIn platform and requirements to build the brand on a global scale.
- Identify new/emerging social platforms that serve the goals of the group and keep management informed.
- Find opportunities to promote our social media channels online and offline.
- Grow the social media presence on all platforms
- Any other ad hoc duties that might be required.

**Minimum requirements**:

- Matric
- Related qualifications in media, marketing, communications or a related creative field will be to your advantage
- Worked as a social media executive for a similar company.
- Texts that are authoritative and persuasive.
- The writing style is adaptable and engaging.
- Understanding of relevant engagement metrics.
- Appreciation for fresh perspectives and ideas.
- Excellent organizational skills (time and project management)
- Previous experience crafting product pages, landing pages, and utilizing a brand narrative
