Finance Administrator: Blue Label Data Solutions

**JOB PURPOSE**

As a Finance Administrator, you will be an integral part of Blue Label Data Solutions finance team, responsible for assisting with the day-to-day financial operations of the company. Your primary focus will be on maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting senior accounting staff in various tasks.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Accounting duties**
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system
- Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, payments, and receipts
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes
- Support senior accountants with audits, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Help with financial analysis and reporting as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Stay updated on accounting principles, standards, and regulations.Adhoc administrative tasks

- Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required

- Extract and combine data to generate standard reports

- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance

**EXPERIENCE**
- Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems (7 to 12 months)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Pastel)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
