Area Sales Representative

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Representative with extensive mining sales experience for the Western Bushveld region/area
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for achieving sales and targets as per company requirements
- Monitors and services existing accounts - processing queries and orders
- Responsible for identifying and developing new clients/accounts via regular and planned call schedules
- Adjusts content of sales presentations based on the type of sales outlet or client
- Focuses sales efforts by checking existing and potential volume of dealers
- Process quotations and orders as per requirements
- Submit daily call reports and weekly work plans
- Updating and submitting results reports - e.g. monthly and annual territory analyses
- Monitor competition activity by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, product and related activities
- Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results from the field and competitive developments
- Resolve customer complaints
- Investigate problems, offering solutions and where relevant preparing reports with recommendations to management
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge via professional publications, workshops, webinars, networking
- Update and maintain historical records on areas and customer sales

- Grade 12
- Relevant Degree/Diploma is preferred
- **MUST HAVE** 10 years’ Mining Sales related experience
- Strong knowledge of strata control products
- MS Office, strong in Word and Excel
- Excellent people/communication skills with people at all levels
- Mining or Rock Engineering background would be advantageous
- Must be based in the Western bushveld region
- Established contacts within mines in the region is preferred
- Salary dependent on background, experience, qualification and sales track record
- South African citizens only
