Information technology Specialist

**Were seeking an experienced it specialist who has the technology skills to make the company more efficient.this role requires a person to analyze current systems and assets ,recommended and implement solutions and upgrades and provide training if and when ever its required.**

**This position should have an immediate impact on day to day efficiency of our operations and a long -term impact on our overall growth**

**Role objectives**:
**This role requires to monitor and maintain the company computer systems ,entitles and configures hardware and soft were and solves technical issues as they arise**

**Further role objectives include but are not limited to**:
Take responsibility for projects and solutions with the larger business initiatives

Handel business-critical IT tasks and systems admission

Track and maintain hardware and software

**Reporting structure**

The IT specialist is required to follow the organogram as demonstrational hereunder for any -related query or to report any personal issue that may influence his/her day to day duties and responsibilities.

Should the employees not be satisfied with his direct supervisors advice and /or guidance that the matter be exudated to the next reporting manager or executive.

The human resources Departments is available for further advance and /or guidance should the line manager not be able to resolve the query

All employees are reminded of the company internal grievance policy for any dispute that remains unresolved

**Qualifications -&minimum required job experience**:
A matric certificate is mandatory ,whereafter a bachelors degree or equivalent in information

Technology or computer science be required

A minimum of 10 years + working experience in the it field would be preferred.

A minimum of 5+years management or supervisory leadership experience is required.

Experience within the road freight and logistics industries with knowledge of parcel perfect program would be advantageous

**Required skills & abilities**

Deep knowledge of coding/programing languages for example SQL and operating systems current equipment and technologies enterprises backup and recovery procedures and systems performance monitoring.

Data structures and algorithms-knowledge of different organizational methods for sorting information in a database and the know how to chose combinations to successfully complete takes.

Experience in implicating configuring and testing IT solutions ,

Configuring cloud platforms

Strong Creative and analytical thinking

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to experience strong judgment in analyzing ,appraising, elevating and solving problems of difficult procedural organizational, administrative or technical nature

The ability to analyze data and present information to stakeholders in a simplified format for example on bi dashboard or on any preferred and workable format.

Advanced skills in Microsoft programs especially Excel

**General conduct **:willingness to assist with general duties ,team work, organized ,honesty, friendly ,hard worker, loyal on time Strong customer service skills.

**Daily duties & responsibilities**:
Duties include but are not limited to:
Analyze departmental needs ,identify vulnerabilities ,and boost productibility ,effectivity ,and accuracy to inform business decisions:
Ensure network components work together seamlessly to meet business needs, using there full rage of capabilities and stay informed about new feathers and competitor solutions:
Install, configure and support workstation software ,hardware, printers and phones:
Analyze processes technologies and vendors continually o find areas for improvement:
Prepare cost benefit analysis When upgrades are necessary and to monitor vendors to ensure that they are offering the best possible service and value for business needs

Train employees to use software and hardware ,troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed

Develop and execute disaster recovery planning and incident response development and implementation

Advise on the required security processes and/or the development of a suitable multi leveled security system to protect the companies interests

Maintain data backups daily:
Assisting the it manager to deliver financial report for areas of accountability.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of companies information
