Job description

Work within a marketing and communications department of a leading security company. The recruit will be based in the Johannesburg office (Midrand). This role will be responsible for the co-ordination of tactical marketing activities. This includes physical and administrative elements of events, promotions, roadshows etc. The position will report directly into the Inland Marketing Manager

Responsibilities include:

- Planning and executing of tactical marketing activities. This includes promotions, event scheduling, set ups, cost management and management thereof
- Branding for events and promotions to ensure visibility of the brand
- Creating visibility of internal and external marketing events and activations
- Assist with developing collateral to support marketing activities and campaigns
- Draw up a comprehensive promotions and events plan
- Drive the promotions and events function to ensure successful measurable campaigns
- Maintain brand identity/ be the custodian of the brand
- Create and maintain relationships with agencies and vendors (briefing of artwork and promotional items, promotions and events)
- Manage the activations agency - their spend and outputs
- Administrative responsibilities

**Requirements**:

- Marketing and or events qualification
- At least three years' experience in events, promotions and activations
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Time management
- Relationship management
- Project management
- Negotiation skills
- Campaign management
- Budget management
- Assist with advertising requirements
