**Job Purpose**:
The Marketing Assistant is responsible for assisting the marketing and communications department in the development and execution of customer and partner communication programs and events.

**Responsibilities**:
Channel Marketing Assistant
- This job involves the communication, administration, co-ordination, planning and organising of all marketing and communication related events and campaigns.

Event Assistant
- Assisting in delivering events on time, within budget, that meet or exceed expectations.
- The job largely entails all logístical and physical setup arrangements for events / conferences including the hosting at events and breakdown afterwards.

General
- General office administration.
- Assist with procurement, stockholding and distribution of marketing materials and collateral to all stakeholders.
- Assisting in the day to day running of business operations.

**Qualification and Experience**:

- Grade 12
- Marketing / Communications Degree / Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid drivers license

**Skills and Knowledge**:

- Administration experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Good organization skills
- Digital marketing understanding
