A well established casket manufacturing company based in Phoenix, Industrial Park, seeks to employ the services of a CNC Operator/Setter.

Job duties and function include;
- Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
- Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
- Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
- Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
- Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts.
- Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
- Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
- Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications.
- Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
- Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
- Cleaning and maintaining the machine.
- Training new staff on machine operation procedures.
- Follow machine safety precautions for machinery
- Working required production targets
- Ensure job function is carried out according to required specification
- Obey all health and safety rules
- Adhering to company policies and procedures
- Carry out any lawful legal instruction given to you by a Senior
- Assist in departments as needed for operational reasons

Educational requirements
- Grade 12
- Completed CNC Operator Qualification -added advantage
- Excellent Computer skills on MS Office
- Administrative efficiency
- Fluent in English (Verbal & Written
- 2 - 4 Years’ experience as a **CNC Operator** within a wood Manufacturing Industry.
