A well known company is looking for a CNC Lathe and Milling Machine Operator

**Responsibilities**:

- **Machine operation**: Programming CNC lathes and milling machines to produce parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
- **Monitoring**: Continuously monitor machine operations, making adjustments to speed and settings to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- **Quality control**: Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools (like Vernier Calipers and micrometers) to ensure they meet required quality standards and specifications.
- **Setup and maintenance**: Perform routine preventative maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting on the machines.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate production records and logs.
- **Collaboration**: Work with engineers, senior operators, and quality control teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
- **Training**:Training other employees on set up and operating CNC Lathe and milling machine

Skills and qualifications
- Proficiency in operating both lathe and milling machines (manual and CNC).
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Knowledge of materials, fits, and tolerances.
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as vernier calipers and micrometers
- **Soft skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- **Education and experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Formal training in machining or a related field is preferred.
- 3-5 years prior experience working with machine shop tools and equipment is essential.
