Digital Art Director

We are looking for a digital art director with outstanding conceptual skills, and a proven track record of producing beautiful and unique designs for a variety of digital formats.
You need to have five+ years’ experience at a digital agency (agency experience is mandatory), comprehensive knowledge and proven experience of the market and industry. You should be able to create original work and layouts for digital and social campaigns and concepts, conceptualise and develop innovative ideas and executions with the creative concept team for pitches and projects, and be able to generate clear and concise ideas that create influence culture.
It is mandatory to understand digital and social media ad formats and platforms, and to have proven experience as an Art Director, or similar role.
Design
Ideation and collaboration - Be able to conceptualise and develop innovative ideas and executions with the creative concept team for pitches and projects
Create original work and layouts for digital and social campaigns and concepts
Adhere to strict briefs and deadlines
Must have a strong portfolio to demonstrate craft and ideas
Presentation
Present articulate and completed ideas to clients and internal team members
Working within a team
Work seamlessly and efficiently with team members and leads to fostering a collaborative ‘ego-free’ working environment
Ensure timely response to requests from team members on all deliverables
Manage your time and follow up on delegated deliverables
Essential experience
Exceptional design skills in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Proven experience as an Art Director or design, or similar role
Verifiable degrees and/or diplomas
Must have a minimum of five+ years in a digital agency
Essential skills
Must understand digital and social media ad formats and platforms
High level of creativity, inspiration, and innovation in your thinking
Comprehensive knowledge and proven experience of the market and industry
“Can do” attitude to take ownership and pride in deliverables
Excellent communication skills in English
High standard of integrity, service excellence and a passion for the industry
Maturity of temperament to relate to a wide range of clientele and internal staff
Ability to work within a budget
Experience in preparing high-quality decks for internal or external presentation
Flexible and a team player
Must be able to work independently and with a copywriter
