- Attend all zoom meetings and face to face meetings on time
- Responsible for the quality of presentation to Clients as well as presentation to Clients.
- Senior Art Direction for all forms of communication including but not limited to: TV, Audio Visual, Print, Outdoor, Digital, Social Media, Brochures and Business Collateral.
- Ensure that the level of design and craft is high.
- All jobs must be started according to the correct specs from the beginning and within the relevant CI.
- Able to conceptualise TV Campaigns
- Brief TV Directors, Illustrators and Photographers and attend shoots
- Proof checking and signing off artwork before final checking by Senior Creative.
- Interface with traffic, TV and Print production, Account Management and Strategic Planning - able to work well with the team and the allocated writer.
- Ensure deadlines are met.
- Keeping abreast of advertising trends, awards and general current events.
- Travel via Air to meetings within South Africa and overseas should it be necessary.
- Thorough knowledge of lnDesign, Illustrator, Keynote, Photoshop, and Acrobat as well some knowledge of Premier and After Effects.
- Take responsibility for management and mentorship of junior art directors in the team who report into you
- Manage the appraisal process for the junior team who report into you
- Inspire and provide training and look after the development of the juniors within your team that report into you
- Assist with any other duties as assigned by senior team members
- Degree or relevant qualification
- At least 5 years experience as a Art Director in an above the line agency
- Portfolio
