Group Manager Supply Chain Management

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Drive a focus on supply chain strategic planning through influencing and facilitating the development of future strategic directions of Airports Company South Africa.
- Translate company’s business and organisational goals into a comprehensive functional strategy.
- Ensure strategic alignment with the goals of those business areas serviced by SCM.
- Develop and lead an effective demand planning capability which supports forecasting, budgeting and integrated business planning.
- Manage and enhance the strategic partnership model to business and encourage business collaboration in demand planning and category management.
- Embed a category management approach to procurement with a focus on supplier market analysis, contracts management and supplier performance management per category.
- Drive the identification and realisation of cost reduction and cost saving opportunities through effective category management.
- Guide the implementation of supplier management strategies.
- Establish SCM policies, governance structures, frameworks and processes.
- Manage risk and drive compliance with SCM policies, procedures, standards, SLAs and relevant legislation.
- Guide the implementation of an effective procurement strategy and the establishment of a Procurement Centre of Excellence
- Drive tactical procurement and the purchasing process for strategic sourcing as per implemented contracts according to best practice
- Manage company’s risk exposure through identification, implementation and maintenance of risk control measures to minimise the Company’s liability

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s Degree (4 years - 480 credits - NQF 8) in Commerce or Accounting is essential.
- Master’s degree: MBA / MBL / LLB or Commercial Law is advantageous.
- 10 to 12 years’ experience in procurement at Senior Management level is essential.
- Registration with Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply (CIPS) OR SAPICS.
- MS Office proficiency at intermediate level
