- MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES- Primary responsibility is to ensure appropriate and optimal levels of inventory that support the objectives of superior customer service, product quality, total delivered cost and working capital targets.
- Be Supply Review champion for the integrated Industrial S&OP process. Develop, present and publish all elements of the Supply pillar of S&OP process.
- Ensure with the use of S&OP principles cost-effective plans and schedules to meet customer requirements on time are enforced making best use of the manufacturing resources and efficiencies with inventory and cost targets. Maintain close contact with Customer Services advising them of the situation and amend plans as priorities change
- Prepare forward plans for production to an appropriate horizon to consider the effect of seasonal influences, holidays, growth and change plans. Participate in budget preparation and regular review.
- Be responsible for the day to day leadership, management and effectiveness of the production planning and material scheduling team.
- Oversee development and coaching of departmental team members. Develop individual goals for direct reports and ensure alignment to functional OGSM's. Follow up and monitor progress of individual goals and adjust as necessary to changes in business priorities and objectives.
- Meet with internal & external customers to understand their needs and to propose mutual Supply Chain improvement solutions to improve efficiency.
- Represent Supply Chain on local, regional and global projects, with regard to Commercialisation, CCI and engineering changes**Inherent Requirements**
- CANDIDATE PROFILE- Degree level standard education or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years experience in an Operations or Supply chain role(experience within food, automotive or similar industries desirable) and of using SAP, S&OP processes and advanced planning tools to manage supply chains preferably in a SAP environment.
- Expertise on ERP/SC systems (SAP is mandatory) and Advanced level Microsoft Office (Excel):

- The applicant has to be system driven and knows how to apply/enforce it into the daily tasks of his team.
- Has to know as well what are the steps to be followed from good receipt to production confirmation.
- Understanding of all the internal processes and the interrelationships between them: the “what should happen” to challenge the “what is happening”.
- Proven track record of managing and developing a team:

- To set OGSMs, to follow performance and achievements, to develop team work and global business understanding.
- Good presentation skills and ability to proactively to lead coordination meeting to improve the global supply chain.
- Cross functional team player and able to operate effectively within a matrix structure:

- Always keen to fix issues beyond the boundaries of his department, know how to raise and escalate repeated dysfunctions to propose and implement corrective actions.
- Potential and desire to build career within Supply Chain
- Being able to work under pressure and to always keep common sense.
