The purpose of the Front of House role in a restaurant is to ensure a positive dining experience for guests by providing excellent customer service and managing various front-of-house operations. Front of House staff plays a critical part in creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional service to guests, thereby contributing to the overall success and reputation of the restaurant.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Knowledge and Experience Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Hospitality Qualification
- Advantageous
- Guest Experience Management - handling of compliments and complaints, environment, and ambiance management. Etc
- Experience in relevant field within FOH i.e., floor service, retail, hosting.
- Knowledge and practice of food safety and hygiene standards.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Guest service and handling of food and beverages - ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Building customer relations and retaining regulars
- Knowledge and practice of basic food safety and hygiene standards.
- Execution of relevant and sectional SOPs
- Cash Handling - waiters float and or cashier till
- Understand and operate point of sale system.
- Strong ability to work as a team.
- Attendance and active participation in all relevant training sessions on & off site.
- Training, coaching and guidance new hires and in support of other teammates.
- Assistance in stock counts

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Self-motivated and confident
- Passion for guest Experience and satisfaction
- Flexibility and willingness to work rotating shifts and step in to assist in all sections during busy service
